Everyone is invited to a Pot Luck at the C.Y.C. Clubhouse on Sunday evening during the weekend of the New Members Party to discuss the upcoming cruising events. Since we need to mke reservations at this National Park, we will need to get a headcount for people interested in cruising to Hingham Bay, making landfall at Bumpkin Island, and camping ashore. No RSVP is required. Bring an hor d'oeuvre or libation along with your enthusiasm and ideas. We will also discuss the most desirable destinations within Massachusetts Bay for the C.Y.C. Summer Cruise. |

July 12th to July 13th mark the dates for an Overnight Excursion to Bumpkin Island in Hingham Bay. Fun events are planned at this visit to a local island steeped in history. The necessities can fit in a sail bag so boats both big and small (i.e.210s) should be able to make this journey around the point to attend this first annual event. |

The Dickson Cup will be raced Saturday, July 26th (Waterfront Weekend). The Dickson Cup is an informal "race" for boats large and small sailboats (i.e. cruisers to H 12.5s). Everyone is a contender in this fun focused race where winners aren't necessarily the boat that crosses the line first. |
