2008 Adult Sailing Program

The 2008 season promises to have something for everyone! Our unique program of volunteer member instructors guiding students through a personalized curriculum surprises many new students, and teachers, with how fun and empowering learning to sail can be for adults.
The Club’s three boats, Fiddler, Sweet Pea, and Syndicate have had maintenance updates readying them for certified members to use free of charge through out the summer. Whether student, instructor, or newcomer, plan to join our fun and enthusiastic group this year.
Curriculum
1. The popular lesson program for beginner and intermediate sailors will again feature hands-on individualized instruction guaranteed to provide the skills and confidence needed to take the helm.
2. In addition, a new 4 week racing instruction program will be held in June to equip sailors with tactical knowledge and practical experience to join the fun Wednesday evening races. The new Racing Classes extend the learning curve for sailors of all levels who want to fine tune existing skills before the summer races begin.
Getting Started
The season kicks off Saturday May 24th at 10 AM at the club. Stop by for coffee, learn about the program and/or register for Sailing and Racing classes.
